Website Expenses: Hosting, Domain Name, Security

I hope you like my advices, notices and tips. I am trying my best even though I have full time job and family obligations.

I have to pay for domain name and hosting. This site is running on Fat Cow hosting. I like them. First of all, when I signed for the first 3 years, it was 60% sale. Then I checked server speed and it appeared not bad for such price hosting. Fatcow hosting provides unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited hosted domain, unlimited pop mailboxes and unlimited MySQL databases.

What is important to me that fat cow has partnership with Site Lock Security Company. They scan your web site for malicious intruders. If you sign for site lock separately, it will cost you at least $39.99 per year or $99.99 if you have large site. With Fatcow hosting you are getting site lock service for $12 per year.

I had a bad experience, when I had a web site on a cheap host and received warning from Google that one of my page has fishing link. In Google search they displayed message that my site is not safe to visit. Can you imagine! I re-uploaded all my pages to delete pages with intruder links and then moved my site to Fatcow hosting, because they have Sitelock. Now I have peace of mind and so do my visitors.

Besides, Fatcow hosting gives you $75 credit for Google AdWords, $25 credit for Yahoo search, $50 advertising credit for Facebook. It provides a free award-winning shopping cart for small and medium-sized businesses. You don't need any experience to use it. Also, you can create your blog with WordPress and use Joomla for contents management.
